Dear Parents,

Throughout the day, office staff receives many calls from parents requesting a change in their child’s dismissal routine for that particular day. Requests made late in the school day can be difficult to manage.

In order to better meet parental needs and requests AND to keep children safe, I have the following expectations:

• Any change in transportation will be made in writing by a parent or guardian at the beginning of the school day.
• Arrangements to have a child dismissed to someone other than the parent will be communicated to the school before 2:00 pm.
• Between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00p.m., we will only call students for early dismissal for scheduled appointments.

(I recognize that emergencies do occur.  Please notify the office of any required changes in your child’s dismissal routine so that we can meet your needs.)
